Meghan has been a yoga student for more years that she wishes to share and has been teaching since 2019. Meghan is proof that a deep and serious appreciation for the teachings of yoga doesn't have to feel serious. Her classes are welcoming, all levels appropriate, and students are encouraged to honor choice in every moment, appreciating our unique bodies, circumstances and stories that arrive to the mat. Meghan teaches with honesty, humility, and love, and you might even sneak a laugh or two. You NEVER know!
Meghan is a graduate of the 200 Hour and Advanced 300 Hour YTT programs at Yoga by the Sea and the 200 Hour Meditation in Motion Program from the Amrit Yoga Institute. She is an experienced executive-level coach and facilitator, building and facilitating custom courses for leadership teams on topics including Conscious Leadership, Vision and Goals, Mindfulness, and topics related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She has trained with the Co-Active Training Institute and CRR Global, with a particular emphasis on coaching teams, relationships, and other groups.
Doug aka Doug E Fresh first explored yoga by taking on a 365 day challenge to practice yoga every day for a year. Nothing like going deep right away! Doug continues to go deep as a devoted yoga student in his everyday life, waking early every morning to sit by the fire and practice, practice, practice. He brings this devotion as a student to his classes as a teacher and creates an environment for community to come together through loving practice.
In addition to his yoga teaching, Doug has been a teacher of youth for over 20 years. Doug has a deep and genuine appreciation for uniqueness and difference, and with an MA in Special Education, has spent most of career as a special education teacher. He is a graduate of the Principal Leadership Institute at UC Berkeley and is deeply devoted to creating loving and compassionate spaces for young people to thrive. He brings the teachings of yoga to the school classroom, providing his students with the knowledge, tools, and ability to manage emotions, make healthy choices, and cope with the stresses of everyday life. He is a graduate of the 200 Hour and Advanced 300 Hour YTT program at Yoga by the Sea.
